Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Book of Mormon Games("BMG," "we," "us") governing your use of the Book of Mormon Games mobile application and related services (the "App").

By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App is a Book of Mormon study tool built around games. It includes free content available without an account, optional account-based features (cloud sync, friends, group challenges), and optional paid premium content (additional games, difficulty modes, and tools).

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Children under 13 may use the free, account-less guest mode without restriction. Adults are responsible for the use of the App by anyone in their household.

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Keeping your sign-in credentials secure (or your linked Apple/Google account secure if you sign in via OAuth).
• The accuracy of the information you provide.
• All activity that occurs under your account.

You may delete your account at any time from inside the App. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (see §8).

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Use the App to harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Upload content (including custom avatars or display names) that is sexually explicit, violent, hateful, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate. See the Community Standards page for the full list of prohibited content.
• Attempt to access another user's account or our servers without authorization.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by applicable law.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or account termination.

When you submit a display name, choose an avatar, upload a custom avatar photo, or send a challenge to a friend, you keep all rights you have in that content. You grant BMG a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the App for you and the people you choose to share with (such as your friends or group members). This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for the legality and appropriateness of any content you submit.

Premium content is available via Apple App Store and Google Play in-app purchases.

• Available subscriptions: Monthly ($1.99 / month, auto-renewing) and Annual ($14.99 / year, auto-renewing).
• Available one-time purchase: Lifetime ($39.99, non-recurring).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Managing your subscription: You may turn off auto-renewal or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings (iOS) or Google Play subscriptions (Android). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple and Google according to their store policies. We do not directly issue refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases.

You may stop using the App at any time. You may delete your account from inside the App; deletion permanently removes your account and synced data after a 30-day support-recovery window.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App (with or without notice) if we believe you have violated these Terms, the Community Standards, or any applicable law. Active subscriptions are not refunded on termination for cause. Termination of your account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription — you must cancel that through Apple or Google directly.

The App, including all games, artwork, sound, code, design, and text (other than scripture text and content you submit), is owned by BMG or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by law.

Scripture text from the Book of Mormon is in the public domain. Verse selection, ordering, gameplay design around scripture text, and all study and game features are proprietary to BMG.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved.

The App is a study and game tool, not a substitute for personal scripture study, prayer, or guidance from your church.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BMG and its principals will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the App must be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a new "Last Updated" date. Material changes will also be surfaced inside the App. Continued use of the App after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance.

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge: (a) these Terms are between you and BMG, not Apple; (b) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App; (c) Apple is not responsible for any product warranties or product claims; (d) Apple is not responsible for addressing claims by you or any third party relating to the App; and (e) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
